When will my child start school?
There is one intake per year to most primary schools, which is at the beginning of September. The date that your child was born will determine which year they are due to start primary school. Children start in the school year that they will be five in, therefore some children may be five when they start, others will be just four. Please see the chart below to determine the year of school entry for your child.
